| Hundreds of emails and telephone calls regarding the size of SMT's most popular 455 Deep Bore, was the reason for the O2. There seemed to be a big cross section of the general golfing public that had either heard about or saw the 455 Deep Bore, and thought about how much they would love to try it, but felt that they were simply not comfortable with the larger size...
Welcome the "Little Brother". The O2, was created to be the Prince to the current King. Beautiful and rich see through copper color with smoke black edges and backskirt, this "bad boy" flat out performs.
With it's deep bore design for stability, it's more rounded body shape and ever so slightly higher Center Of Gravity than the 455.
The trajectory is just a shade lower than the 455, for a very penetrating ball flight. You owe it to yourself to try one out. |

| Combination of 3 materials for the 21st Century, Beta Titanium, Compression Molded Graphite and tungsten Copper, make for the most technologically advanced component head for 2004.
SMT really went the extra mile on this one. The combination of premium materials is evident on this head as soon as you take it out of the box.
With 30 grams of weight to play with in the Babylon head, SMT saw that other companies were simply welding weights inside the head near the backskirt. It immediately occurred to them that there was no way that it could ever be done the same on any two heads. Thus, the tungsten copper insert in the back heel... always the same, always the same place.
This one plays very solid with the lowest Center Of Gravity of the bunch. It has a reduced spin profile and a high launch angle... almost 3/4 of a degree weaker than stated loft.
